Celestial Protocol [Sci-Fi Adventure Map]

Celestial Protocol is a large-scale sci-fi adventure map set in outer space. This project was created by the author of the famous "Assassin of Steve" trilogy and the popular "Blaze and Cave's Advancements Pack".

Development of this map took over four years, with the official release on November 22, 2022.

The main goal of this project is to demonstrate the limitless possibilities of maps for Minecraft Java Edition. The author aimed to create a unique gaming experience, putting enormous effort into four years of development. The map is expected to gain recognition in the Minecraft community and inspire other creators to develop their own large-scale projects.

Number of Players: 1+ The map is optimized for single player but supports multiplayer mode. Within the storyline, other characters will perceive all players as one person.

Storyline

Humanity... still unaware of what lurks in the depths of space.

People wonder if they are alone in the Universe.

But they never thought about...

What would happen when they discover they are not alone.

Or what those who came from the stars would do to humanity.

Celestial Protocol offers an original and engaging storyline built around the giant alien ship Celestial, which abducted you along with other Earthlings. Finding yourself captive of aliens, you must challenge the invaders to survive and return to Earth.

Characters and Voice Acting

The project features over 25 fully voice-acted characters — from minor heroes to key companions who will join you in the fight against alien drones.

You can choose male or female voice for your character, voiced by Cyber_Tooth_Tiger and HBear21 respectively. Here are the main heroes you'll meet during gameplay:

Leader Hyso

Voiced by abrightmoore, Hyso leads the Varkem Forces — the resistance fighting the alien threat. Based on an uncharted planet in a distant star system, they become your main allies in the fight to return home.

General Utgy

Performed by CrazyCowMM, General Utgy is responsible for your combat training and tactics against alien drones. As an experienced military man, he is demanding and persistent, but his combat skills make him a valuable ally.

Lucas

Voiced by sixfootblue, Lucas becomes your close friend and companion. He is an ordinary guy abducted along with others, and doesn't miss an opportunity to joke or quote pop culture even in the most tense moments.

Narelle

Performed by Light Shadow, Narelle is another ally of yours, known for her incredible accuracy and composure in extreme situations.

Captain Kelrig

Voiced by Innominate, Captain Kelrig is the formidable alien commander of the Celestial ship that abducted you. He becomes the main threat on your path to victory and return to Earth.

Custom Mobs

Alien drones come in various shapes and sizes, each with unique characteristics. Some may resemble standard Minecraft mobs, while others have completely unique AI and special abilities — from shields and healing to flight and dropping explosive quantum energy.

Throughout your adventure, you'll encounter several boss drones, including the Celestipede — a multi-segmented worm boss inspired by the Destroyer and Eater of Worlds from Terraria. Many bosses have unique attack patterns, multiple phases, and special abilities that will force you to develop specific strategies to defeat them.

Custom Crafting

Defeating alien drones yields various resources: drone parts and energy cells. These can be used in the Matter Manipulator — a device capable of restructuring item molecules — to create unique weapons and equipment.

Among available items: swords, blasters, laser beams, explosive energy launchers, and much more. As you progress, you'll unlock new schematics for creating more powerful weapons and utility items such as force fields and grenades.

Resource Pack

Thanks to a custom resource pack, unique 3D models were created for all alien drones, characters, weapons, and environmental objects. To enhance immersion, numerous sound effects have been added, as well as over 60 royalty-free music tracks by TeknoAXE and Kevin MacLeod, which create a special atmosphere during battles with aliens.

Particular mention deserves the professional voice acting from 25 actors who gave voices to the map's characters.
