A Heart For You - Mod Description

This mod introduces several unique crystal hearts into the game, each with special properties and usage mechanics.

Main Crystal Types:

Heart Crystal - when used, permanently increases the player's maximum health by 2 hearts. Can obtain up to 10 additional hearts total. Important: even after death, the player retains the bonus hearts upon respawning.

Absorption Crystal - grants the player 10 temporary absorption hearts for 15 minutes. If used again before the effect expires, hearts don't stack but refresh back to 10 hearts.

Immunity Crystal - instantly clears poison and wither effects, and provides protection against these negative effects for 10 minutes.

Decay Crystal - when consumed, applies wither I and slowness I effects to the player and all living creatures within a 15-block radius for 3 minutes.

Crafting and Mechanics:

Crafting the crystals requires amethyst shards or blocks combined with either an enchanted golden apple or regular golden apple.

Since vanilla amethyst farming has limitations, the mod adds a new mechanic: right-clicking an amethyst block with an iron pickaxe or better turns that block into a budding amethyst block.

Also worth noting, the mod restores the old enchanted golden apple crafting recipe - 8 gold blocks and 1 apple.

Originally this mod was developed for our modded server, but the developer later decided to make it available to all players.
