Finding Magical Artifacts
Magic books with spells can be found in various locations throughout the world:
- Buried chests
- Stronghold libraries
- Desert and jungle temples
- As a reward from clerics after obtaining the "Hero of the Village" status
Using Spells
To activate magic, you need to hold the spellbook in your off-hand and right-click. After this, you can put the book away - the spells are automatically transferred to your wand.
Switching between different spells is done by scrolling the mouse wheel while holding the magic wand.
Magical Tools
Magic wands and other magical artifacts are found in the same locations as spell books. Several types are available:
Standard Wand:
- Mana capacity: 20 units
- Maximum spells: 5
- Mana regeneration speed: 1
Casting Orb:
- Mana capacity: 30 units
- Maximum spells: 5
- Mana regeneration speed: 2
Demon Katar:
- Maximum spells: 5
- Feature: uses health instead of mana, equal to the spell's cost
Grimoire:
- Doesn't require mana
- Feature: all 5 spells are randomly selected and cannot be changed
Version Features
In Minecraft version 1.17, evil mages are absent, while in all other versions they are present in the world.
