Add Fluent Design elements to the Minecraft window to give the game a modern and stylish look.

System Requirements

The full set of features, including Fluent Design materials, dark mode, and window border customization, is available only in Windows 11 version 22H2 (OS build 22621) and newer. On other operating systems, you can still use this mod to create a transparent window background and then apply additional tools for further customization.

Dependencies

AcryliCraft uses YetAnotherConfigLib as its configuration library. To access mod settings in Fabric, you will also need to install Mod Menu.

IMPORTANT! For Forge/NeoForge versions 1.20 and above, it is necessary to disable the FML splash screen for the transparent game window to initialize correctly. This can be done by setting the earlyWindowControl parameter in the .minecraft\config\fml.toml file to false. Note that this MIGHT cause issues with some display mods that use advanced OpenGL features.

Known Issues

Some NVIDIA graphics cards incorrectly display transparency for Minecraft windows (and other GLFW windows), causing the window background to appear black. This is likely related to drivers and cannot be fixed on the mod side. If you have another graphics card installed on your computer, switching to it may resolve the problem.
