Actual Fishing
This mod completely overhauls fishing in Minecraft, making it more realistic and engaging.
Key Features:
New Catch Approach - Instead of getting fish as items, you now catch actual live fish. Treasure and junk can still be obtained through standard fishing, but most of the time you'll end up empty-handed.
Fish Attraction - Your fishing rod now attracts the attention of underwater creatures. Fish react differently to bait - some swim towards the hook, others ignore it, everything depends on their mood and behavior.
Biting Process - When a fish approaches your bait, it has a chance to bite. If the bite is successful, the hook will attach to the fish, and you'll need to reel it out of the water.
Live Fish Only - When reeling in, you get exclusively live fish. If you need treasure or regular junk, you'll have to use the standard fishing mechanics.
Natural Environment - The mod doesn't create artificial fish - they must already inhabit the body of water. For successful fishing, look for water bodies with natural fish populations.
