Actually Balanced Daggers

What does this pack add?

🔪 To craft daggers, you'll need a stick, any material, and an amethyst shard (a new use for amethyst!).

📈 Daggers have no attack cooldown, allowing you to attack as fast as you can click. However, this advantage comes at the cost of reduced damage per hit - it's slightly less than a sword and significantly less than axes. Remember that although your weapon has no cooldown, enemies still have damage animation, and you won't be able to strike again until they stop being red!

💪 Zombies can spawn with daggers (just like with other tools). The higher the game difficulty, the greater the chance they'll appear with this weapon.

👞 Daggers are useful to have on your hotbar even for players not interested in combat. Holding a dagger gives you a small speed boost. The effect is minor but enjoyable!

Compatibility and Performance

🛠 This datapack is compatible with almost all other datapacks, except those that do really strange things.

🏆 This datapack executes significantly fewer commands per second compared to most others - averaging only 1 command per tick, meaning no lag on your server or world.
