Advanced Hook Launchers

What is this mod?

This mod adds various hooks with launchers to Minecraft, opening up new possibilities for movement and interaction with the world. You'll be able to climb walls, rappel down ropes, jump off cliffs, pull creatures and other players, and even battle dragons!

IMPORTANT: The mod requires the ForgeEndertech library to function.

Main Features

• Advanced realistic physics
• Ability to use multiple hooks simultaneously
• Full multiplayer compatibility
• Flexible configuration: adjust hook strength, fire resistance, rope color, length and elasticity, launcher durability and reeling speed
• Target weight relative to your weight is taken into account (don't try to land a dragon alone!)
• Each hook can only withstand a certain maximum weight
• Rope tension force depends on its elasticity

Main Hand

• Launch - press Left Mouse Button
• Reel / Unhook - press Left Mouse Button while holding Left Shift
• Pull - press or hold Left Mouse Button
• Loosen - press or hold Left Mouse Button while holding Left Control

Off-hand

• Launch - press Right Mouse Button
• Reel / Unhook - press Right Mouse Button while holding Left Shift
• Pull - press or hold Right Mouse Button
• Loosen - press or hold Right Mouse Button while holding Left Control

Additional Actions

• Swing - use A-W-S-D to build momentum
• Jump Boost - while pulling, press Left Shift while holding Space
• Tarzan Jump - while swinging, double tap Space
• Release - when grappled by another player, press Left Mouse Button while holding Left Shift (while riding, simply left-click)

Hook Types

Pudge hook

• Attaches to tree leaves, poles, iron bars and fences
• Rips out torches, bells and lanterns
• Pulls entities and players
• Dismounts riding entities
• Auto-pulling
• Medium distance
• High hook strength
• High fire resistance

Spear hook

• Attaches to any block except blocks with high hardness (metal blocks, obsidian, etc.)
• Breaks glass
• Deals damage to entities on hit
• Long distance
• Medium rope elasticity
• Medium fire resistance

Web hook

• Sticks to any surface except sandy blocks
• Safe for other players (deals no damage)
• Long distance
• High rope elasticity
• Low fire resistance

Modpacks

• You are free to use this mod in any modpacks.
• Permission for use is not required.
