Advanced Tooltips - Enhanced Item Information

The Advanced Tooltips mod significantly improves standard Minecraft tooltips by adding useful information for various item types. You'll now be able to see contents of shulker boxes, details of filled maps, information about fish in buckets, armor characteristics, nutritional properties of food, and much more just by hovering your cursor!

One of the key features of the mod is its high degree of customization. You can enable and disable different types of tooltips according to your preferences, creating the perfect user interface for your gameplay.

Mod Configuration

The configuration file is located at: <minecraft directory>/config/advancedtooltips.json5

For convenience, you can also use the command /advancedtooltips config to manage settings directly in-game. More detailed information about the configuration file format can be found on the project's GitHub.

Compatibility Questions

This mod is an adaptation of the popular Inspecio mod for the Fabric loader. After the release of version 1.19, the original Inspecio switched exclusively to Quilt support, limiting its availability for Fabric users. Advanced Tooltips solves this problem by providing similar functionality for players who prefer Fabric.
