AE2 Alchernistry Addon

This addon bridges the integration gap between Alchernistry and Applied Energistics 2. Now you can efficiently automate the operation of Alchernistry machines without having to set up a separate machine for each recipe and lock it to a specific task.

How It Works

Simply install the mod, place an ME Pattern Provider facing either a Combiner or Compactor, and load it with encoded processing recipes. When the system uses the pattern provider for automatic crafting, the mod will automatically configure the recipe inside the corresponding machine.

Why Only Combiner and Compactor?

According to the developer, these two machines specifically require recipe configuration because they can produce different items from the same ingredients. The fission and fusion multiblocks don't even have recipe selection, while the Liquifier and Atomizer don't face the issue of identical inputs generating different outputs. Additionally, Applied Energistics 2 doesn't allow liquids to be used as primary ingredients in patterns.

Troubleshooting

• Crafts will fail if there are any items in the machine's input slots. This is because the machine expects exactly the ingredients specified in the recipe (or multiples thereof).
• Issues may occur when trying to use ingredient substitutions in recipes. The mod matches input and output data from the recipe with corresponding data from the pattern. If they don't match, the craft is rejected.
