Required: Set Up Your Gemini API Key

This mod requires a Gemini API key from Google AI Studio. Without it, the artificial intelligence functions will not work.

Overview

AI Crafter integrates Google Gemini technology into Minecraft, providing players with instant answers to questions and the ability to execute commands using natural language. The mod is designed for maximum usability and does not disrupt the vanilla gameplay experience.

How to Use

AI Chat

Ask questions using commands:

• /ai How do I make a Nether portal?
• /ai At what level do diamonds spawn?

Command Execution

Describe the desired action, and the AI will generate the appropriate command:

• /aic Make it day → /time set day
• /aic Give me 64 torches → /give @s torch 64

Commands that are not allowed in survival mode will be ignored (when cheats are disabled).

Configuration

• Press K in-game to open the settings menu (change key bindings if there are conflicts)
• Paste your Gemini API key
• Select your preferred model:
  • Gemini 2.5 Flash Preview
  • Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview
  • Gemini 2.0 Experimental

Installation

1. Download the version for Fabric, Quilt, Forge, or NeoForge
2. Place the mod .jar file in the mods folder
3. Launch Minecraft
4. Press K and configure the API key

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.5 or newer
• Java 21 or newer
• Internet connection
• Gemini API key
• Fabric Loader 0.16.10+, Forge 55.0.1+, or NeoForge 21.5.4+

Privacy and Security

• API key is stored locally in encrypted form
• Personal data is not collected or transmitted
• Only messages related to Minecraft are sent to the Gemini API
