AJ Patches

The AJ Patches modification represents a set of fixes and enhancements specifically designed to improve and modify the operation of other mods included in the Arduous Journey modpack.

Main Features

Unexpected Encounters in the Nether

• Wither skeleton spawns can be replaced with unique Wraither and Corpor opponents from the Bygone Nether mod
• Occasionally, piglins transform into Blackstone Dwarves from the Infernal Expansion mod

Atmospheric Combat Events

• During Undead Army raids from the Marjusz Progressive Difficulty mod, the standard message is replaced with a more atmospheric one: "An unsettling shift grips the atmosphere, thick with the essence of malevolence. Then, from the distance, emerges the sound of furious roars, growing steadily louder and more pronounced. These roars herald the advance of an angry undead horde that hungers for your death, their wrath converging upon your very location"
• The standard raid start notification is completely removed

Boss Enhancement

• The Dead King boss from the Irons Spellbook mod upon summoning says: "Your essence is now a jewel I desire to add to my crown of souls, submit willingly and join the chorus of those who've yielded to my sovereignty"

Maps and Discoveries

• Pillagers, evokers, and vindicators have a chance to drop maps leading to the Gallery of Illusions (Dungeon Now Loading) and the Conjurer Theatre (The Conjurer)
• When hovering over the map, destination coordinates are displayed
• Musical instruments from the Immersive Melodies mod periodically appear in village chests

• All parameters can be easily adjusted through configuration files
