Akashic Tome of Tools Fabric [Updated]

Note: This is an updated version of the mod for Minecraft 1.20.1. The original concept belongs to Vazkii and vlad2305m.

What is this mod?

Akashic Tome of Tools Fabric provides players with a unique storage tool - the magical book Akashic Tome. Through simple crafting using a regular book and a bookshelf, you get a powerful item capable of containing many different tools, guides, and documents from other mods in one compact space.

How it works

The mod's main mechanism is based on binding items to the tome:

• Adding items is done through the crafting table by simply combining the tome with desired objects
• The tome preserves all attached items along with their original properties and NBT settings
• You can freely switch between saved items with a single mouse click

Core functionality

Transformation mode

• Right-click transforms the tome into any attached item
• Shift+left-click returns to the original book form (for weapons, you must look straight up)
• Use Ctrl+Q combination while sneaking to remove unwanted items from the collection

Compatibility

• Mod documentation functionality is 99% preserved
• Items can be used in crafting recipes
• The system protects against accidental data loss during manipulations
