About the Mod

The Alaska Native Craft modification immerses players in the rich world of Alaska Native cultures! The game has been enriched with numerous unique elements that make surviving in cold biomes more interesting and diverse.

Main Features

Mobs

Harp Seals These friendly sea inhabitants spawn in ocean and river biomes. They are busy hunting fish and add special charm to marine landscapes.

Ptarmigans Small birds that can be tamed using seeds. Tamed ptarmigans perch on the player's shoulder, like parrots, becoming faithful companions on travels.

Moose These are the largest members of the deer family, wandering through cold biomes. Players can track their location by following the trails of stripped logs these animals leave behind.

Transportation

Dogsleds The most efficient means of transportation across snow-covered tundra. Just harness your favorite dog - and off you go! Important to note: sleds reach maximum speed specifically on snow and ice.

Weapons and Tools

Harpoons Tired of chasing mobs with a leash? Don't want to search for that pesky trident for a long time? Harpoon is your choice!

Ulu Sharp knives that handle all tasks shears can do, but don't clutter your inventory with leaf blocks. Their main purpose is cutting fish into thin slices for drying on special racks.

Food and Plants

Various Berries Try blueberries, cloudberries, raspberries, and salmonberries! Bushes with these berries can only be found in snowy biomes and taiga.

Akutaq If berries aren't enough to satisfy your sweet tooth, try delicious akutaq! Mix raw venison or fish with berries in a bowl. Bonus: akutaq provides temporary positive effects depending on how many berries you added!

Dry Fish Everyone's favorite snack - fish strips dried in the sun. While not particularly filling, they help tide you over until a proper meal.

Special Items

Kuspuks Elegant traditional clothing of Alaska Native peoples, combining style and comfort. These outfits currently serve decorative purposes only.

Driftwood Trees voluntarily washed ashore can be found on beaches worldwide. They make excellent drying racks!

Snow Goggles Want to see the whole screen? No? Then put on protective snow goggles! These devices were invented by indigenous peoples to protect against snow blindness. Unfortunately, they are quite rare - found only in chests of taiga and snowy biome villages.
