Alembic (Thaumcraft)

The Alembic mod bridges Thaumcraft's research mechanics with Minecraft achievements, designed specifically for use with quest systems like HQM, Thaumonomicon's Advancement Task-like modifications, and achievement-supporting libraries/mods such as Patchouli. It automatically generates multi-stage achievements for each Thaumcraft research track—both in the base game and with addons. Achievement trigger formation is automatic, and support for multiple stage progression facilitates achievement integration into guided reward systems within game packs.

Achievement ID Format The format for in-game achievement IDs is as follows: alembic:category/research_key@stage_level Full stage example (third level out of a ten-stage progress): alembic:basics/firststeps@3 Higher numbers or the last level of an existing research stage indicate successful completion of the entire research, allowing other mods to see the insight as completed and equally grand.

Important: The mod is in beta and may contain unstable features, unexpected bugs, and compatibility issues. Automatic handling of altered resource packs for single-player editions and built-in draft loaders is implemented, but responses after the /reload command, server configuration switches, and reconnections should be checked.

A console command is added for testing, searching log display elements, and verifying synchronization between different game stages regarding player story progression and progress availability: /research <colored key>.
