The "Alex's Caves" mod is a large-scale addition for Minecraft version 1.20.1 on the Forge platform, which enriches the underground world with six completely new cave biomes. Each of these subterranean landscapes has a unique atmosphere, special resources, living creatures, and interesting mechanics, turning underground exploration into an exciting adventure.

You'll encounter six amazing underground realms: Magnetic Caves, where metal items behave unusually; Primordial Caves with ancient life forms; Toxic Caves filled with poisonous vapors; the Bottomless Chasm descending to the deepest depths; Forsaken Hollows with a gloomy atmosphere; and the Candy Cavity, resembling a fairy-tale candy land.

To find these rare underground biomes, you'll need to locate an Underground Cabin anywhere in the overworld. Inside, you'll find barrels with valuable finds, including cave tablets and the Cave Compendium—a detailed guide to all the mod's features that will assist you in exploration.

The developers put tremendous effort into creating a unique visual atmosphere for each biome. You'll notice special particles, fog, unusual lighting, and color schemes that create the distinctive atmosphere of each underground world. For the best visual experience, it's recommended to play without shaders, as they can distort the author's vision of the cave designs.

The mod is fully compatible with popular additions like Just Enough Items and Alex's Mobs, making integration into your gaming experience as comfortable as possible.
