AltLore

AltLore is a convenient tool for mod and pack creators that allows adding additional information to items when holding a specific key.

How it works

The system is fully customizable through datapacks. To add alternative descriptions, you need to create files with the ".altlore" extension in a special "altlore" folder.

File format

Each line in the file should contain an item identifier followed by an equals sign and the description text. Use the \n symbol for line breaks.
