Amethyst Additions
This mod significantly expands the capabilities of amethysts in Minecraft by adding various items and mechanics that organically fit into the vanilla game style.
For the mod to work, the following dependencies are required: Fabric Shield Lib, MidnightLib, and Fabric API.
Main Features
Amethyst Lamp
Emits soft light and creates particles. Can be installed on different sides of blocks.
Amethyst Block
When light hits one of the sides, it begins to emit special particles:
Colored Water Cauldrons
Cauldrons can be heated to boiling. When boiling, they begin to transform amethyst blocks placed above them:
Colored Amethysts
Colored amethyst buds grow crystals of the corresponding color.
Colored Allays
When duplicating allays using colored amethysts, a copy of the corresponding color is created:
Colored Enchantments
First, you need to create a smithing template of amethyst in the desired color, then combine the template, enchanted item, and lapis on a smithing table to change the enchantment color.
Amethyst Shield
Deals counter damage to attackers, but each attack destroys one of the amethysts on the shield.
To restore amethysts, you can right-click the shield in your inventory.
The shield can be enchanted with mending, unbreaking, or sharpness, which will also affect its amethysts.
It's possible to add amethysts of different colors to customize the shield:
