Ancient Amber
This unusual mod adds unique materials and items to Minecraft that will gradually expand with each update. The main focus is on creating original resources rather than traditional ore deposits.
How to Obtain Materials
The first material in the modification is amber. To obtain it, you need to go to the dark oak forest biome and find an extremely rare golden oak tree. Some leaves on this tree contain resin - simply right-click them with an empty bottle in hand to collect sap.
After collecting 9 bottles of sap, you can create a sap block. When smelting this block in a furnace, you'll get crystallized sap, which can be mined with a pickaxe to obtain 4 units of crystallized sap. Further smelting of crystallized sap will give you the long-awaited amber.
Note: In future updates, the acquisition process may change - instead of smelting, you'll need to leave the sap block under sunlight.
What Can Be Crafted
Various tools and weapons are available from amber:
- Amber longsword
- Amber greataxe
- Amber pickaxe
- Amber bow
You can also create decorative bricks from crystallized sap.
Additional Items
This update adds two random items:
Cheese - an excellent food source. To obtain it:
- Create a bottle of milk from a bucket of milk and an empty bottle
- Brew the bottle of milk in a brewing stand to get melty cheese
- Create regular cheese from melty cheese
Skull mask - a decorative headpiece crafted from 2 strings and a skeleton skull.
