How to Use Animal Crates

With this mod, you can conveniently transport animals in the Minecraft world. Simply right-click on an animal while holding a crate to place it inside. After this, the crate becomes very heavy, and you'll have to carry it on your back.

To release the animal, place the crate on the ground like a regular block and press Shift+right-click. This will destroy the crate. If you want to pick up the crate back into your inventory, simply break it with an axe - the animal will remain inside.

The crate interface is intuitive: the inventory shows which animal is inside, and when placed in the world or interacted with, you'll hear characteristic sounds made by the contained creature.

Now you can easily transport animals on a ship or carry them through difficult terrain on your own back!

Development Plans

This mod was created to solve a specific task, but the following improvements are planned for the future:

• Metal cages - which always need to be carried on the back (even when empty), but they don't break when opened
• Visual cues - labels and the ability to see the animal inside, so you don't have to pick up the crate for identification
• Transporting multiple small animals - chickens and bats take up little space, so it will be possible to place several individuals in one crate

Important: do not release animals when the crate is next to other blocks, as the creature may suffocate.
