Animania Cats & Dogs
Add variety to your Minecraft world with this Animania module that introduces numerous pets and wild animals from the feline and canine families.
Dogs
The module features various dog breeds, each with unique characteristics. All dogs are tamed using raw beef and follow the player. They do not spawn naturally in the world - to acquire them, you need to find the Pet Merchant.
The German Shepherd has a special ability - it can herd goats and sheep. Details about this feature can be found in the Animania manual.
Other Canids
In addition to domestic dogs, the module includes wild representatives of the canine family that spawn in their natural habitats - in snowy, cold, and forest biomes. They are also tamed with raw beef.
Cats
Various cat breeds will add coziness to your Minecraft home. Cats are tamed using raw fish and follow the player. They do not spawn in the wild - they can be purchased from the Pet Merchant. Be careful: cats hunt small animals!
Other Felids
The module also includes wild representatives of the feline family that inhabit warm and dry regions. They are tamed with raw fish.
Pet Merchant
The Pet Merchant randomly spawns in villages and sells cats and dogs.
