Apotheosis x Iron's Spellbooks Compat

This addon creates deep integration between Apotheosis and Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks mods, offering spellcasters completely new possibilities for customizing their equipment. The mod adds unique affixes, gems, and special mechanics that expand the arsenal of magic users.

Main Features

A new item category for reforging and loot has been added to the game - Staffs. This system works with any items that inherit from the CastingItem class from Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks, allowing them to receive special affixes for spellcasters.

Attribute Affixes provide bonuses like "+X% Fire Spell Power". The system intelligently filters available affixes - equipment receives only those enhancements that match the magic schools detected in its existing attributes. For example, a staff with fire attributes can get fire affixes but not ice affixes. Items with multiple magic schools are supported. Currently applied only to weapons for balance.

New "Spell Effect" Affixes work similarly to mob effects in Apotheosis but are activated by spell actions: on spell healing (self/target) and on spell damage (self/target).

The Telepathic affix now works with spell kills - mob drops will teleport to you when they die from a spell cast from an enchanted staff.

"Spell Level" Affixes increase the level of cast spells. Like attribute affixes, they are filtered by magic school, ensuring enhancement of only relevant spells based on the item's detected schools.

Several new gems have been added, thematically connected to various magic schools. They provide spell power, resistances, and other thematic bonuses.

Only for NeoForge, version 1.21.1. No backports will be made. However, Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks for 1.20.1 already has basic Apotheosis support.

Compatibility

Beyond the core Iron's Spellbooks schools, the mod includes built-in optional support for several addons, adding gems and affixes thematically adapted to their custom schools:

• Abyssal school from Cataclysm Spellbooks
• Sound school from Alshanex's Familiars
• Wind school from SnackPirate's Aeromancy Additions
• Symmetry school from Magic From The East
• Spellblade school from Ender's Spells and Stuff (gems are present, but affixes currently don't apply)
• Aqua school support (expected addition in T.O Magic 'n Extras for 1.21)
