Frequently Asked Questions
What is Apoli and how is it related to Apugli?
Apoli is the core library used by the Origins mod (for versions 1.17 and above) to implement powers, conditions, and actions. Apugli is compatible with any mods using Apoli and can also work directly with the Apoli library itself.
Versions for Minecraft 1.16.5 are intended to work with Origins version 0.7.3.
Why does the game crash when using Origins Power Expansion (OPE)?
Origins Power Expansion is no longer supported. All its functionality has been migrated to Apugli, so datapacks dependent on OPE should work without issues. Essentially, Apugli is a continuation of OPE development.
Do I need to install Apugli separately if I have TooManyOrigins or CursedOrigins?
Apugli is built into the following mod versions:
- TooManyOrigins (Fabric) — starting from version 0.1.3a
- TooManyOrigins (Forge 1.16.5) — versions 0.5.1.1-0.5.1.2 (unsupported)
- TooManyOrigins (Forge 1.19.2 and above) — starting from version 0.8.0
- CursedOrigins — starting from version 2.0.0 (unsupported)
