Aquaculture
Expanding Fishing Possibilities in Minecraft
The Aquaculture 2 mod fundamentally transforms the game's fishing system by adding over 30 new fish species that can be caught with a fishing rod (any rod will work - both standard and from other mods!) or encountered swimming in their natural habitat.
In addition to fish variety, the mod offers a series of new rods with the ability to equip hooks and bait for additional functionality. You can personalize your tackle with special fishing line and bobbers, creating a truly unique fishing rod. All modifications and customization elements are applied in a special tackle box, which also serves for storing spare hooks, bait, line, and bobbers.
Biome Diversity
Each biome type - including those added by other mods - receives its own fish species that bring your game world to life. Various fish mobs now swim in rivers, ponds, and oceans, making fishing more engaging and realistic.
Catch Processing and Valuable Finds
Caught fish can be processed into fillets - the amount of fillets obtained depends on the fish species (or its weight, if the corresponding configuration option is enabled). Additionally, while fishing you can catch rare and valuable items, including legendary tools and armor made of neptunium (configurable in settings).
