Add armor to mobs with Armored Foes
Armored Foes significantly toughens battles with opponents in Minecraft. It forces a greater variety of creatures to equip different types of armor, now visually displayed, adding diversity and raising the challenge of gameplay.
🔧 New game possibilities
- Visible armor for all. Villagers, witches, and Illagers now showcase equipped armor — just like players do. This makes the world more cohesive and logical.
- Natural mob equipment. Drowned and Wither Skeletons can spawn in different armors. Piglins, Piglin Brutes, and Zombified Piglins typically wear gold. This increases encounter variety and the level of preparation required.
- Armored raids. All Illagers (Illusioners, Evokers, Vindicators, Pillagers) participating in raids receive armor, making village defense significantly more difficult.
- Powerful customization via Data Pack. Spawn chances and conditions for specific equipment are adjustable using loot tables. You can define for yourself who appears wearing what.
- Fork FOR FABRIC & NEOFORGE. Requires installation of PUZZLES LIB on both versions.

⚙️ How to manage settings?
- MOD menu. The easiest way to configure mod behavior in-game is through the configuration mod menu — Mod Menu (use on Fabric requires its separate installation). Also ensure Forge Config Screens is installed (older versions of Minecraft and Forge).
- Configuration files. Parameters can be manually adjusted using files in the
.minecraft/configdirectory. Found config files can be tweaked with any text editor.
