Rituals for Sky Islands

This mod adds special rituals that are perfect for playing in skyblock mode. With them, you can create and develop your floating islands.

Main Island Creation Rituals

• Ritual of Conjure Starter Island - forms an island according to a pre-configured template. Excellent for map builders who want to give players the ability to build their island using a brazier.

• Ritual of Sedimentation - turns water sources into cobblestone, providing basic building material.

• Island Creation Rituals (Blazing/Vexing/Flourishing/Cascading) - generate unique archwood islands with rare resources that are otherwise unobtainable. Used as progression milestones.

Special Rituals

• Ritual of Elder Summon - summons waves of Guardians or Elder Guardian when augmented.

• Ritual of Mana Regeneration - gives nearby players accelerated mana regeneration.

• Ritual of Conjure Deep Dark Island - forms an island of sculk, turning the area into the Deep Dark biome.

• Ritual of Conjure End Portal - creates an island with a portal to the End.

• Ritual of Conjure Geode - forms an amethyst geode.

New Recipes

The "Crush" technique now works like a typical hammer in skyblock mode and adds ores to the loot tables of cobblestone, gravel, and sand. Also added are recipes for creating heart of the sea and the Swift Sneak enchantment.

How to Start Playing

For full skyblock gameplay, players will need access to a water source (Conjure Water), the Crush technique, and a spell-casting item (book, wand, etc.). Glyphs can be configured in the Ars Nouveau configuration files.

Usage Ideas

• Reduce player health regeneration and provide early access to the Ritual of Mana Regeneration. This will force the player to build a regeneration network early or operate around a central point for spellcasting.

• Give the player the Ritual of Sedimentation along with Crush and Conjure Water (set to Tier 1) for ore generation.

• Start the game on a small patch of land with a brazier and Tablet of Conjure Starter Island. You can change the starting structure using a datapack or use the provided one with the above changes.

• Use Ars Nouveau's island creation rituals to encourage the player to build grassy sky islands and biomes.
