Artemis' Quartz Ore Update in Vanilla World Distribution

Features and Configuration

This modification implements quartz ore generation in the regular Minecraft world, providing identical spawning characteristics and properties comparable to the Nether:

• Spawn rates remain the same as in the Nether (uniform distribution between levels 10-246)
• XP drop amounts and quartz yields are identical to Nether quartz ore
• For English language, the item display name is changed from "Nether Quartz" to simply "Quartz"

Customization Options

The mod can be easily adjusted to personal preferences. Modifying the frequency of ore appearance or its location requires editing the quartz ore placement configuration, while customization of vein size parameters is accessible through the respective configured feature file. Forge users can also configure biome integration using appropriate tag usage.

On the Fabric platform, quartz generation can be restricted in specific biomes via a dedicated blocklisting mechanism. But Forge loading finds few elegant approaches for implementing equivalent restricting methods generally beyond the manual biome inclusion ranges that could omit additions you oppose fitting your needs.
