Automation Utilities
The Automation Utilities modification was born out of the need to fill gaps in various technological modpacks. Instead of duplicating existing mechanisms from other mods, the developer focused on creating original and concise solutions for process automation.
The main functionality includes several specialized blocks:
Item Manipulator
This mechanism is designed to work with containers - chests, furnaces, dispensers and other storage systems. When activated by a redstone signal, it takes an entire stack of items from the input container and moves it to the output. If there is no receiving container, items are simply dropped into the world. An enhanced version with filtering is also available, allowing precise configuration of item types and quantities to be moved.
Programmable Block Placer
This block is equipped with an 18-slot inventory intended for storing blocks. Each redstone pulse activates sequential block placement according to the predetermined slot order. The device cycles through all 18 positions. Importantly, it only works with the basic block placement function and does not emulate other item interactions.
Redstone Notification System
Consists of two linked components - the actual alarm and a portable indicator. When the alarm is activated with redstone, the connected indicator starts glowing directly in the player's inventory. This creates a convenient remote alert system for various events in automated setups.
Item Distributor
Any dropped items that enter the top part of this device are redirected to its sides. Through the interface, you can finely tune the distribution - specify the exact number of items for each direction, as well as determine whether stacks should be split during processing.
Directional Redstone Panel
A simple but effective device that provides a constant redstone signal exclusively in one specified direction, simplifying redstone circuit routing.
The modification supports Minecraft versions 1.7.10 and 1.10.2, offering proven solutions for automation enthusiasts.
