This modification introduces a new mob to the game world - the goldfish Ranchu! These underwater inhabitants feature diverse color patterns and can breed. Along with them, a new decorative plant is added - water lettuce (Water Lettuce).

Ranchus and Their Varieties

Ranchu fish spawn in river biomes. They can be caught with a bucket, and their appearance varies depending on color pattern and tail size.

• Naturally spawned ranchus are almost always of the "wild" variety - muddy brown in color without patterns
• The fish can be bred, allowing for new color variations
• Available are 101 different color patterns and 3 tail sizes (short, medium, long)
• There are 303 appearance combinations in total

Water Lettuce

Water lettuce is a new aquatic plant that spawns in water bodies in savanna biomes.

• Spreads when bone meal is used on it
• Can be crafted into green dye
• Used for ranchu breeding

Ranchu Breeding

Unlike other mobs, ranchus cannot be fed to breed them.

• First, the fish need to be "domesticated" by catching them with a bucket

• Then two domesticated fish must be placed in a body of water while meeting these conditions:

  1. There must be at least one water lettuce growing within ten blocks of the fish
  2. There should be less than six other ranchus nearby
  3. It must be sunrise

When these conditions are met, the fish automatically enter love mode and produce offspring.
