The mod that adds forgotten equipment

What items are typically missing in Minecraft but should be there? Basic Equipment fills this gap by offering complete armor and tool sets made from various in-game materials that Mojang studio somehow overlooked.

New materials for equipment

The mod includes:

• Complete sets of copper armor and tools
• Quartz gear sets
• Emerald equipment

Upcoming features

Planned developments:

• Chainmail horse armor
• Netherite horse armor for horses

Why are some materials missing?

Amethyst exists as shards - creating full armor from them would be similar to trying to make iron or gold armor from nuggets.

Obsidian is a block material - until there's a way to obtain it in item form (for example, through casting), making armor from it is impossible.

About the name

The mod was originally called "Vanilla Equipment," but platform administrators pointed out the excessive use of the word "vanilla" in project names. To publish the mod, the name had to be changed to Basic Equipment.
