About the Mod

Basic Industry serves as an introductory module in a series of technological modifications planned by the BBM team. It offers standard functionality typical of such additions while bringing a fresh perspective to familiar mechanisms.

Approach Features

The main difference between this mod and its counterparts lies in a fundamentally different approach to equipment design. While most technical mods provide static devices with minimal upgrade possibilities, Basic Industry focuses on maximum customization. You can not only change the primary purpose of a machine (for example, turning a crusher into a grinder) but also configure slot sizes in the interface. Imagine a device capable of autonomous operation for an entire hour - for this, it's sufficient to install expanded storage modules, increasing capacity to 40 slots. Additionally, the power supply system is also flexibly configurable: from standard RF to simple coal for mobile solutions.

Development Plans

In perspective, developers plan to release both standalone mods and additions to Basic Industry. Among them are a redesigned version of Atomic Science and the revival of content in the style of Resonant Induction from old UE mods.

Mod Content

• Early-game furnaces - improved versions of standard furnaces with increased capacity and ability to process two items simultaneously
• Dynamic machines - metal frames allowing installation of various modules to create specialized equipment
• Core modules - key components defining device functionality: crusher, grinder, smelter, sawmill (with prospects for expanding the list)
• Storage modules - upgrades of various sizes and purposes: single slots, chests, hoppers, dispensers
• Power modules - energy converters: coal generators, RF batteries, UE batteries
• Control modules - components for advanced machine operation logic (currently not implemented)
