About the Modification

Battery Box is a compact modification that adds a specialized block to the game for housing batteries and energy storage elements. This battery storage unit allows you to efficiently organize power systems in your world.

Best compatibility is achieved with the Just A Battery mod, but most other modifications featuring batteries and capacitors should also work correctly.

How to Use

Simply place the Battery Box block within your energy circuit between an RF power source and consumers. To insert a battery, hold the item and right-click the block. To remove the power element — use Shift + right-click.

Energy transfer speed is regulated based on battery specifications and the energy cables being used. Connection is possible from any side of the block.

The system is perfect for situations where energy consumption temporarily exceeds generation capacity. The Battery Box will supply connected devices with required power and recharge during periods of excess energy production.

Charge level is visually displayed through color changes and brightness level — the higher the charge, the brighter the block glows.

Battery Boxes can exchange energy with adjacent blocks, including other battery boxes. The redistribution speed depends on the maximum throughput capacity of connected batteries.

This capability allows creating chains of multiple Battery Boxes, but remember: energy will only flow between connected boxes with installed batteries. If there's no accumulator in the adjacent block — no energy transfer will occur.

Additional feature: you can use the Battery Box to directly charge energy items. However, such charging devices cannot power connected equipment — they operate solely in charging mode.

Battery Box is excellent for providing supplemental power to energy-hungry devices and storage systems during peak load moments!
