Expanding Beekeeping Capabilities

The Bee Productive modification is compatible exclusively with Fabric and requires Fabric API installation for proper operation. Although porting to Forge is not currently planned, the project is distributed under an open license, allowing other developers to create a compatible version.

Trait System and Alternative Products

The mod introduces an innovative trait system for regular bees and expands the range of hive products. All changes are controlled through special nectars that are fed to bees. After receiving nectar, the bee delivers it to the hive where processing occurs, and the nectar's effects activate upon completion of this process.

Feeding Automation

For those who prefer an automated approach, a special bee feeder is available. This device can be refilled through a hopper, and bees will independently collect nectar from it without your involvement.

Bee Status Monitoring

To track bee characteristics and the type of nectar they carry, use a bee swab. This tool provides detailed information about each individual.

The bee swab also allows predicting which products you'll get from a filled hive, helping to plan harvest collection.

Developer Opportunities

The mod is created with extensibility in mind, allowing other developers to add their own traits, nectars, and honey varieties for any purposes. Technical documentation for developers will be available soon.
