Better Anvil

Important! As of July 11, 2024, Better Renames development has been officially discontinued. For new Minecraft versions, it is recommended to use the alternative mod - RP Renames.

Better Anvil is a Fabric mod that significantly simplifies working with CIT and CMD items from selected resource packs. Now you can quickly obtain the desired items directly in the anvil and chat.

Supported Formats

• CIT - Custom Item Textures
• CMD - Custom Model Data

Required Dependencies

For the mod to work, the following are required:

• Fabric API
• Cloth Config
• Optifine or CITResewn

Main Features

CIT and Resource Packs Menu

The interface center displays a list of item renames. On the right, you can see a preview of your skin or selected item - use the two buttons above to change it. On the left is the favorites panel where you can save your favorite renames. At the top are tabs for different resource packs.

CMD Menu

Similar to the CIT menu, here the center displays CMD item identifiers. On the right - preview of the selected item or skin with it. On the left - favorites panel for saving frequently used CMD IDs. At the top - resource pack tabs.

Smart Search

For effective searching, use tags: #item, #resourcepack, #enchantments, #damage, #count, #lore. After the tag, specify the required parameters.

Tag autocompletion is also available when scrolling the mouse wheel. For example: #item + scroll → #item Diamond
