Better Apple Drops
This datapack significantly improves the chances of apples dropping from leaves in Minecraft. Instead of the standard low probabilities, you'll get much more generous apple drops.
Improved Drop Chances
Here's how the probabilities of getting apples have changed:
- Normal breaking or natural decay: 0.7% instead of the standard 0.5%
- With Fortune I enchantment: 1% instead of 0.556%
- With Fortune II enchantment: 1.5% instead of 0.625%
- With Fortune III enchantment: 3% instead of 0.833%
These improvements apply to both types of oak leaves - regular and dark oak.
Practical Benefits
Although the numbers may seem small, in practice the difference is noticeable. Now you can collect a decent amount of apples in a reasonable time without spending hours mindlessly breaking leaves. This eliminates the need to kidnap and breed villagers for a steady supply of apples.
