Better Bamboo Wood - Enhanced Bamboo Wood

This datapack introduces important changes to the mechanics of bamboo wood added in version 1.20, making its behavior more logical and consistent with other wood types in the game.

Main Improvements

The modification offers several key changes that make working with bamboo more convenient and balanced:

• Bamboo logs can now be smelted into charcoal, just like regular wood materials
• The crafting recipe has been changed: one bamboo log now produces 4 planks instead of the previous 2
• Two bamboo planks can be crafted into 2 sticks
• Four units of bamboo transform into one plank

Installation

To install, you need to go to the game's saves folder. On Windows, the path looks like this:

C:\Users(your name)\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\saves

Place the archived file in the data packs folder, then restart your world or execute the /reload command.

Balance Features

The increased plank yield is balanced by changing the stick recipe - now one bamboo log and 9 units of bamboo each produce 4 sticks.
