Better Chiseled Bookshelves
This mod significantly expands the functionality of bookshelves in Minecraft by adding a filtering system for convenient book sorting. You can precisely configure which specific items will be accepted by your bookshelves.
Filtering Capabilities
- Filter by enchantment level and book generation - use Roman numerals to specify a particular level
- Filter by enchantment ID or author - apply the @ prefix for exact specification
- Fuzzy search - add an asterisk at the beginning or end for partial name matching
Practical Usage Examples
If you set the filter "Protection I", the shelf will accept all books with "Protection" enchantment at level 1, including Protection I, Fire Protection I, and others.
With the filter "@gudenau I", you can sort first generation books created by the specified author.
And the filter "@minecraft:feather_falling" will configure the shelf exclusively for books with the "Feather Falling" enchantment.
It's important to note that the filtering system works with some flexibility, except for cases with authors and enchantment IDs. We recommend paying close attention to which books you place in filtered slots to avoid accidentally mixing different item types.
