Better Ladders

This mod solves one specific problem: it completely changes the standard placement model of ladders in Minecraft. Now you no longer need to search for supporting blocks or mess around with barrier blocks - ladders can be placed anywhere in the world!

The placement system has become much smarter. If you place a ladder next to a regular block, it automatically rotates and attaches to its surface, just like in the original version of the game. But if there's no supporting block - the ladder simply orients in the direction the player is facing.

Another important improvement: if you destroy a block that had a ladder attached to it, the ladder itself will remain in place! No more worrying about your constructions collapsing due to accidentally removing one block.

Additional Information

• If you decide to remove the mod, all already placed "floating" ladders will remain in your world. They will only disappear if a block update occurs in the location where the standard ladder expects to find support.
• For three-dimensional ladder models, use special resource packs that add 3D textures.
