A Fabric mod that enhances slabs in Minecraft.

What's the Essence of This Modification?

Better Slabs significantly improves slab functionality by adding vertical versions for all slabs - both from the base game and from other mods. The key feature is the automatic creation of vertical slabs during game runtime, without the need for separate resource loading.

If you've ever faced inconvenience when placing slabs, you'll appreciate this modification. There are three distinct placement modes available:

All options - standard mode that places slabs on the selected block face

Horizontal only - identical to standard slab placement in vanilla game

Vertical only - places exclusively vertical slab variants

Switching between modes is done with the "V" key by default, but this binding can be changed in the controls settings.

Compatibility and Features

It's important to note that this is a Fabric modification, and Forge versions are not planned. Also, the developer does not intend to create backward-compatible versions for earlier game versions, as the technical implementation turned out to be more complex than it initially appears.
