Snowy Biomes: Enhanced

Main Features

This mod significantly enhances and diversifies the snowy biomes of vanilla Minecraft. The primary goal is to make winter landscapes more realistic and atmospheric.

For optimal visual experience, it is recommended to set the "Biome Blend" graphics setting to its maximum value.

Key Functions

• Snow under trees: Snow now appears naturally under tree canopies, creating a more believable winter scene.
• Snow-covered leaves: During snowfall, leaves gradually become covered with snow, taking on a white hue - an effect familiar to Bedrock Edition players.

• Smooth snow transitions: Inspired by Terralith but implemented with unique proprietary code, this mechanic creates natural smooth transitions of the snow cover.

Compatibility

For Tectonic compatibility, place fabric mods above Tectonic in the datapack section when generating a world. Datapack versions do not support integration with Tectonic.

For Quilt, QSL installation is required, without which the mod will not function.

Terralith datapack users have access to a special compatible version.
