Better Stairs Recipe

Simplify staircase crafting! With this fully automated and configurable modification, you can create stairs using just three blocks, directly from your inventory without needing a crafting table.

Enhanced Crafting System

The mod automatically scans all recipes resembling standard stair creation and for each found variation generates a new simplified 2×2 format recipe. This means the modification is compatible with almost any other mods - as soon as a new stair type appears, Better Stairs Recipe immediately creates an optimized recipe for it.

Key advantages:

• Use only 3 blocks instead of 6
• Crafting is available directly from player inventory
• All recipes match the actual shape of stairs in the game

Settings and Configuration

Flexible Parameter Adjustment

All modification parameters can be changed directly in-game or by editing the JSON file config/betterstairscrafting.json in your profile folder. Any changes require restarting Minecraft to apply.

Main parameters:

• stair_amount - sets the number of stairs obtained from crafting

• add_recipes_manually - if set to true, the mod stops automatically generating recipes and creates them based on the specified list

• block_stairs_list - list of blocks and corresponding stairs that can be crafted from them
