The Better Trim Recipes modification offers a straightforward solution that completely redesigns the standard armor trim duplication recipes. Instead of the excessively expensive original recipes that require seven precious diamonds to create one pattern, it provides more balanced and logical alternatives.

Each new recipe is carefully designed and uses materials thematically connected to the specific trim type. For example, creating "ward" and "silence" patterns requires echo shards and deepslate, the "eye" pattern needs an eye of ender and end stone, while "bolt" uses diamond and copper blocks.
