Binnie's Mods suite significantly expands the capabilities of the popular Forestry mod, offering players an in-depth system of selection and genetic research in the Minecraft world.
Enhanced Beekeeping System
The Extra Bees mod fundamentally transforms beekeeping by adding 107 new bee species with unique characteristics. These insects can produce a wide range of resources - from dyes to rare metal powders. For convenient tracking of breeding achievements, the Apiarist Database has been added to help systematize information about discovered species, mutations, and traits. New hive components optimize and improve the beekeeping process.
Rich Tree Diversity
Extra Trees enriches the game world with 96 new tree species, including bananas, Brazil nuts, and Douglas firs. The mod offers numerous new fruits and 35 varieties of wooden planks. Create unique doors, gates, and various fences by combining materials from Forestry, vanilla game, and new additions. The woodworking machine allows creating patterned tiles for beautiful wooden floors, with a similar system working for stained glass. The brewery and distillery transform grown fruits into wines, ciders, and spirits.
Floral Selection
Botany introduces a completely new flower breeding system. 46 species are available, including both classic vanilla flowers and new varieties like fuchsias and lilies. The color palette includes 80 different shades that can be transferred and selectively bred. Grow flowers manually in small gardens using a trowel and fertilizers, carefully controlling soil acidity and moisture, or organize large-scale production on Forestry farms.
Genetic Manipulation
Genetics provides access to advanced genetic engineering technologies for those who prefer a scientific approach over traditional breeding. Isolate, sequence, and implant genes into various species, creating perfect genomes. The system allows modifying bees, trees, butterflies, and flowers, as well as adapting them to different climatic conditions, increasing resistance to unfavorable environments.
