Biome Additions - Biome Modification for Minecraft

Biome Additions is no longer supported by the developers. Instead, we recommend paying attention to its successor - Wilderness, which continues to develop the ideas of improving the game world.

This datapack was created for the aesthetic enrichment of Minecraft biomes with a focus on survival compatibility. The main concept was to add various details to existing biomes, as well as fine-tuning some gameplay elements.

The key feature of Biome Additions was the object addition system, which ensured a high degree of compatibility with other mods and datapacks affecting world generation. The pack worked excellently with Better Trees for improved tree vegetation and Extreme Hills & Mountains for creating majestic mountain landscapes.

Although development of the project has been discontinued, it remains an interesting example of how to carefully enhance vanilla gameplay without disrupting survival balance.
