Development of this mod has been suspended. Newer versions of Minecraft introduced the ability to attach boats with leads, which reduced the relevance of this addon. No updates will be released.

Mod Features

The mod allows boats to overcome small height differences both on land and in water. Installation is required on both server and client.

Dependencies

Fabric API is required for proper operation (specifically the Fabric Networking API version 1 module).

Configuration

Configuration is modified in the config/boat_step_up.json file. Reload is required to apply changes.

• groundStepHeight (default 0.25) - maximum obstacle height that the boat can overcome on land
• waterStepHeight (default 3) - water level difference (out of 9 possible) that the boat can ascend without submerging
