Bone Zone
Welcome to the world of bones! This mod offers numerous spooky and macabre decorative elements based on skeletons and bone materials. You'll also find interesting cosmetic items that can be worn. The mod is compatible with Forge, Fabric, and Quilt.
Bone Carving
A new crafting mechanic is available through a special block - the Bone Carver. This block is crafted on a regular workbench. After placing it in the world, open the crafting interface by right-clicking on the block.
When opening the Bone Carver interface, place a suitable material, such as a bone block, in the left slot. All available craftable items will appear in the central area. Select the desired one and take the result from the right slot. The main materials for work are bones, bone blocks, and coal blocks.
In addition to creating items, the Bone Carver deals damage to mobs that stand on it for too long. Some mobs have special interactions:
- Skeletons and Strays have a 35% chance to drop bone meal
- Wither Skeletons have a 5% chance to drop coal
- Blazes have a 5% chance to drop blaze powder
- Chickens have a 75% chance to drop a feather
- Iron Golems have a 5% chance to drop an iron nugget
- Zombies have a 15% chance to drop rotten flesh
Regular mobs take 2 damage per second, while mobs with special interactions take 3 damage per second, allowing for more resources to be obtained.
Skull Pots
Create flower pots from the bones of your enemies! Various skull pot options are crafted through the Bone Carver. You can plant any plants supported by regular pots in the vanilla game. Unlike standard pots, these can be rotated in different directions and placed underwater.
Skull Masks
Decorative animal masks are crafted through the Bone Carver. Masks of goats, deer, birds, and other animals are available. They can be worn by players, armor stands, and any mobs capable of wearing helmets. Masks can also be placed on the ground as blocks, similar to regular skeleton skulls.
Bone Building Blocks
New building blocks based on various types of skeletons have been added. Classic skeleton bone blocks have a creamy hue, Wither Skeleton blocks have a neutral black color, and Stray blocks feature a steel cold tone, perfect for harsh constructions.
