Bones & Shadows
The Bones & Shadows mod fundamentally transforms the atmosphere of Minecraft's standard structures by adding skeletons of unfortunate adventurers. These remains, positioned in sitting or lying poses, can be found in Ancient Cities, Bastions, Igloos, Pillager Outposts, Ruined Portals, and Mansions, creating a sense of danger and immersing players in a world with rich history.
Mod Features
The game features two types of skeletons:
- Wither Skeletons: Charred remains hinting at fiery battles or fires
- Standard Skeletons: Common bone remains scattered throughout various structures
Each skeleton drops loot specific to its location. In Ancient Cities, you can find rare treasures, while Ruined Portals offer unique resources. Thanks to thoughtful design, ordinary exploration turns into an exciting hunt for hidden stories and valuable rewards.
Future Plans
In upcoming updates, developers plan to expand skeleton variety, increase loot assortment, and add biome-specific appearances for remains to create a more dynamic gaming experience.
