Book of Repair

This modification completely removes the enchanted book "Mending" from loot tables and trading, replacing it with a special Book of Repair (also called "Mending"). The found book is initially uncharged and requires filling with experience - to do this, you need to hold it in your hand while collecting experience points.

When the book is fully charged, it can be used to fully restore the durability of any repairable damaged item. In this case, the prior work penalty is not applied (the level cost is always 1), and the book itself is consumed in the process.

Please note: The original "Mending" enchantment no longer appears in the game in the usual way - it is replaced by this unique mechanic.
