BookStealer

BookStealer is a Minecraft client mod that allows you to save book contents as text files. Simply open any book in the game and click the special save button to preserve its text.

Configuration Settings

The mod offers flexible settings to customize the saving process:

• rude_text — enables rude text for the book save button. Default value is false
• save_dir — specifies the directory for saving books. You can use %MINECRAFT% to denote the game directory (value of the --gameDir launch parameter). Default: %MINECRAFT%/books
• book_fileformat — sets the pattern for book file names. Available variables %TITLE%, %AUTHOR% and %DATE% for automatic substitution. Default: %TITLE%%AUTHOR%_%DATE%.txt
• date_format — date format for the %DATE% variable in file names. Uses SimpleDateFormat formatting. Default: yyyy-MM-dd_hh-mm
