This modification significantly reduces the amount of quicksand generated in the Minecraft world. In the original Biomes O' Plenty, quicksand appears in desert biomes in excessive quantities, creating constant danger for villagers and players alike.

Unfortunately, completely disabling quicksand generation is impossible due to how it gets created during world generation. However, this mod addresses this issue radically by replacing 50-60% of all quicksand with regular sand during map generation.

This modification was created specifically for Minecraft version 1.7.10, where the Biomes O' Plenty configuration files lack an option for regulating quicksand quantities.
