Boring Spawn Chunks

The Boring Spawn Chunks mod brings the spawnChunkRadius game rule from Minecraft version 1.20.5 to earlier game releases.

In addition to providing control over this setting, the mod also changes the default rule value - the spawn area now occupies a 3x3 chunk region instead of the previous 19x19. The visual changes to the world loading screen are also ported, where the classic square dynamically adjusts its size according to the set radius parameter.

For those who wish to completely disable the permanent loading of spawn chunks, a default game rule modification (such as the related mod Boring Default Game Rules) will be needed to set the default value to 0. This approach will also work with the native game rule in Minecraft 1.20.5.
